The Assistant Private Client Officer is responsible for assisting Private Client Relationship Officers with building and maintaining relationships with new and existing high net worth members.
Responsibilities:
Proactively investigate opportunities to expand private client market share by working with existing members.
Work closely with Credit Union partners in the business area and other internal sources.
Conduct periodic reviews with members to determine additional products and services to meet their needs.
Work in partnership with the Private Client officer to deepen relationships with current membership by recommending loan structuring, deposit accounts and other products the Credit Union has available.
Assist the development and growth of the department while building relationships with both members and executive management.
Assist with the summary write-up on loan requests and have a high-level understanding of the credit analysis Follow up and make sure all lien filings have been completed correctly.
Visit with clients and request necessary information as needed.
Act as a back up to the Private Client Specialist when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
0-5 years of experience preferred.
Private client banking or investment management experience preferred.
Ability to work under pressure and in an organized manner.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Performance Standard:
Must take pride in department by processing loans in a timely and efficient manner with a high attention to detail.
Must be professional and courteous in manner, with a focus on attendance, quality and quantity of work performed.
Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
Physical Requirements:
Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.
).
Sit for extended periods of time.
Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
Reach keyboards.
Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.
).
