Full-time, 4-day work weekWe are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to join our growing team in a new Magic Valley clinic.
Providers are key to helping us in our vision to give back lives, reunite families, and heal communities that are suffering from the devastating effects of substance use disorder.
We are proud to have helped over 70,000 patients in their recovery journey and are excited to bring our specialized services to Twin Falls and the surrounding areas.
Ideal Option has been working on the front lines of the opioid epidemic since our first clinic opened in 2012.
With more than 80 clinics across 11 states, we continuously strive to be the nation's leading provider of low-barrier evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder.
The Role:
As a provider with Ideal Option, you get the opportunity to join our fight against the opioid crisis.
You'll be helping patients through some of the lowest and darkest points of their lives.
You'll then be in a position to help patients reclaim their lives.
You'll witness firsthand the impact Ideal Option makes in communities across the nation.
Additional responsibilities include:
oIn office assessments of patients to determine appropriateness of office-based buprenorphine therapyoObtain History of present illness, past medical history, current medications and allergiesoPerform review of systemsoPerform complete physical examinationsoEstablish diagnosis and develop appropriate plans for treatmentoRefer patients for appropriate counselingoDaily co-sign patient chartsoInduction of patients onto buprenorphineoProvider will determine correct level of withdrawals before starting inductionoManage gradual induction onto the appropriate dose of buprenorphineoAssess for any immediate negative side effectsoFollow up and Maintenance EvaluationsoFollow up with recently induced patients to determine current state on buprenorphineoPerform clinical evaluations of patients on an ongoing and periodic basisoObtain and interpret appropriate lab dataoFollows appropriate guidelines and use of telehealth communications with each patient and office
