1. Proactively acknowledges and engages every customer to ensure a
positive experience. Utilizes and understands the Office Depot selling
program to promote the sale of additional solutions and products.
Maintains awareness of planned advertisements and promotions.
2. Provides exceptional customer service by educating customers about
Office Depot products and services. Effectively utilizes communication
tools to request assistance within the sales floor, and to coordinate
the appropriate service, and customer engagement throughout the store.
3. Possesses sufficient knowledge regarding company policies, and
general product knowledge to competently answer associate questions
and customer inquiries.
4. Outside of Depot Time, performs merchandise-related activities to
ensure merchandise presentation guidelines are met through
implementing plan-o-gram changes and updates, merchandise set and
price changes. Sets weekly ads, including price changes, and any
associated updates to store signage or POP materials.
5. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and
practices. Supports company loss prevention efforts.
6. Works to continually develop personal selling skills and
specialized product knowledge through sales and service tools provided.
Drive sales by supporting all current programs, new product launches
and special initiatives.
7. Performs daily cleaning and maintenance duties, such as sweeping,
mopping, vacuuming, dusting as required.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

The Sales Consultant is responsible for engaging and providing an
exceptional customer service experience. The associate must quickly
build ongoing customer relationships and become a trusted advisor by
utilizing advanced selling skills and knowledge (including
cross-selling of products and services) to meet the customer#s needs.
The associate in this role demonstrates a passion for the brand,
product and services solutions knowledge. He/she will utilize Office
Depot#s proven sales principles to proactively engage customers.
The associate must quickly develop product and solution expertise in
key areas such as technology, furniture, with a general understanding
of copy and print.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
