SUMMARY
This position provides service and product sales to new and existing customers of Seastrom Manufacturing Company, Inc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Represent Seastrom Mfg. in the telephone sales of custom and standard catalog parts. Handle in-bound inquiries for existing orders and price and delivery of Seastrom products and customer inquiries.
Recommend other products and offerings to customers (i.e. cross-selling).
Accurately document all sales and assist in data entry.
Offer problem solving and follow up with internal and external customers.
Consistently demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Use eloquence, and tact in verbal and written communication, in an efficient and timely manner.
Professional temperament and behavior is expected with customers and co-workers.
Attention to detail and accuracy are required.
Basic computer skills necessary, including Microsoft Word Outlook and Excel Programs.
Type a minimum of 40 adjusted words per minute, also demonstrate 10-key proficiency.
Ability to write in the English language to properly complete forms, correspondence and logs; and speak English language using proper grammar and clear diction.
Read and manage reports.
Work in a safe and professional manner, keep a clean work area, and wear proper protective equipment.
Cooperation with supervisor and co-workers, willing to work as a team.
Show by example: temperament, professionalism, and teamwork.
Timely arrival and regular attendance at work.
Willing to work overtime.
Willing to work any shift.

The ability to read, write and speak the English language with comprehension skills sufficient to understand safety standards and job performance expectations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to interpret instructions which may be furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, talk and hear. Aside from our huge inventory of stocked parts, Seastrom can modify any of our standard part numbers to meet your applications reducing the cost of tooling.
If our standards or a modification doesn't work, Seastrom engineers will work with you to design the best and most economical part for your application.
