JOB SUMMARY
The Store Manager is responsible for maximizing store-level sales and profitability by developing and promoting a sales culture through monitoring and driving sales goals. The Store Manager acts as a role model and holds Associates accountable for meeting and exceeding customer service standards. The Store Manager will acquire, develop and maintain the store's staff.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sales and Business Growth Development
Achieve or exceed store sales goals including plan, comparison, credit card and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by executing marketing plans and integrating all corporate strategies into assigned store
Build brand awareness and promote company image through partnerships and activities within the community, the shopping center in which the Store is located and by planning and executing grassroots marketing activities
Provide and model excellent Selling with CARE expectations which include: strong product knowledge, maintain salesfloor awareness and ensure that all customers are treated with the highest level of CARE; resolve all customer concerns and requests quickly and effectively
Coordinate and implement all retail activities within the store including: focusing on sales, customer service and utilizing all brand loyalty tools to grow store's business including store online ordering
Maintain company visual and marketing presentation standards per VMU and promotion director (District Manager, Regional Manager, Visual Manager)
Manage and participate in the execution of projects, tasks and ensures that all corporate office memos and instructions are read, executed and filed within the given timeframe
Plan daily goals and non-sell activities and delegate appropriately
Possess business acumen and continually assess business performance and make action plans to improve sales
Staff Development and Management
Identify, recruit and attract top talent; develop and retain a qualified staff
Conduct regular coaching with Associates to build motivation and selling skills
Evaluate skills of Associates and initiate on-going development through the use of available tools and programs and manage Associate performance issues quickly and effectively by partnering with District Manager
Ensure training of Associates in each area of their job responsibilities including selling techniques, POS procedures, visual standards, sale set-ups, store maintenance ,marketing ,loss prevention, Company policies and procedures
Lead by example in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational skills, selling skills and work habits
Cost Management
Ensure weekly schedule is completed within Company payroll budget and optimizes coverage for business needs
Responsible for controlling supplies and expenses remaining within Company guidelines
Ensure fiscal accuracy of store by keeping accurate record and securing store assets
Execute supply and material requisitions in a timely manner and ensure proper store maintenance procedures are followed
Implement and enforce all store operations and loss prevention procedures to control inventory
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
High School Diploma required
Minimum of two (2) years experience in retail required, supervisory experience preferred
1-2 years specialty store experience and strong visual merchandising background preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Certifications
Women's fashion, visual presentation or merchandising
Strong problem solving skills and ability to make decisions in the best interest of the business
Excellent knowledge of retail selling skills and strong sales ability
Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for entire shift, lift 30 lbs and use equipment such as hammers, ladders and merchandising hardwareEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
